Under both conventional and sugar-free tissue culture, the survival rates of plantlets were all at 100%. In
morphological aspect, sugar-free tissue-cultured plantlets were stronger than the conventionally tissue-cultured
ones, with greener, bigger and thicker leaves and shorter between-node lengths. Conventional tissue-cultured
plantlets had smaller leaves of lighter colors, longer between-nodes lengths and slimmer stems (Figs. 10
and 11).
