The Timed Up and Go (TUG) test was used to assess dynamic balance in the patients.
This test measures the time required for a patient to stand up from a 46-cm-high chair, at the cue of‘start’ and walk 3 m in front of them, and return to the chair.
Patients wore their usual shoes, and used gait-assistance tools.
The intra-rater credibility was.99, and inter-rater credibility was.98. A timer was used for 3 repeated measurements.
