The Southern School of Zen puts less importance on the world as a creation of our mind. Instead, it tells us that all truths are already in our minds (not simply delusion).
So in the Southern school (of instant enlightenment), we should try to realize our mind’s inherent purity in everyday life.
When we have come to that realization, we will understand that our mind and the everyday world are the same thing (i.e. the everyday world is already the same as enlightenment).
