My opinion is that it isn't good for teenagers to get surgery. First, it isn't healthy. Your still growing for a long while so it could screw up your body. Second, is kind of what you said in a way. Not having a imperfection fixed like that makes you deal with your insecurities and just self acceptance really. Third, this is kind of a in between statement really. I believe young people shouldn't get cosmetic surgery unless it is interfering with your health like a deformed face. Also, procedures could go wrong and you could end up having a infection or uneven surgery. Oooh and maybe it's not acceptable in some cultures.
I'm bored so i'll try to give a reverse opinion. It's a personal choice. Like people have the right to make decisions for themselves. Next a lot of procedures when done by a well professional goes quite well with little to non error. Also, having surgery done could enhance one's confidence which could lead to more successful experiences. For example, a kid got teased for his big nose when he was young but later on he was able to get surgery therefore, making him more confident and he doesn't get teased anymore. Lastly, it creates jobs. Like not only the cosmetic surgeon themselves but more his assistants, secretaries, janitors, and manufacturers which is a plus for the economy and also it's probably a big industry now which again helps the economy.
