About brain. In general, the left and right hemispheres of our brain process information in different ways. While we have a natural tendency towards one way of thinking, the two sides of our brain work together in our everyday lives. The right brain of the brain focuses on the visual, and processes information in an intuitive and simultaneous way, looking first at the whole picture then the details. The focus of the left brain is verbal, processing information in an analytical and sequential way, looking first at the pieces then putting them together to get the whole. Left brain thinking is verbal and analytical. Right brain is non-verbal and intuitive, using pictures rather than words. The best illustration of this is to listen to people give directions. The left brain person will say something like “From here, go west three blocks and turn north on Vine Street. Go three or four miles and then turn east onto Broad Street.” The right brain person will sound something like this: “Turn right (pointing right), by the church over there (pointing again). ” Though right-brain or non-verbal thinking is often regarded as more creative, there is no right or wrong here; it is merely two different ways of thinking. One is not better than the other, just as being right-handed is not ‘superior’ to being left-handed. What is important is to be aware that there are different ways of thinking, and by knowing what your natural preference is, you can pay attention to your less dominant side to improve the same. By the age of 3 years old, Brain has reached almost 90 percent of its adult size. The growth in each region of the brain largely depends on receiving stimulation, which spurs activity in that region. This stimulation provides the foundation for learning. By learning through the systematic training approach at Shichida, children can fully realize their potential by activating both sides of their brain. By consciously using the right side of our brain, we can be more creative. More so , because left brain strategies are the ones used most often in the classroom, right brain students sometimes feel neglected.
About my teaching practices, I attach significant importance to communication and interactivity. During communicative activities the pupils are far from quiet. They do most of the speaking, and generally the atmosphere in classroom during the lesson is active. Because of the increased responsibility to participate, even the weakest students may find they gain confidence in using the target language they learn. Students are more responsible of their own learning. The way i do is talk less but listen more and interested what they do, what they say for understand them. An infant has incredible learning abilities. Even though an infant may not be able to display his/her learning abilities or potential, the cells in the brain are connecting fast for future brain usage. An infant should be given appropriate brain stimulation to bring out the innate human abilities such as: photographic memory, creativity, perfect pitch in music, multi-languages for language mastery and lightning rapid calculation abilities. Because, Though we recognize that the best period to work with children is when they are below six, we have seen some pretty remarkable results with older children as well.
I have desired some plan for teaching child. For example, Plans for 6 to 12 Months Old, They will begin to use gestures like pointing and waving for expression. This is also the stage that they will understand more of what people doing and saying, including the word of felling. They will crying when they feel like not comfortable. I'll teach and talk to them gentle, talk with a simply words and often say thank you to them. They're able to move their arms and legs equally and coordinate both sides of the body. I will teach them to developing there muscle especially hands and eyes by gave them some game. For example, How to play, pick, take and bring a soft toys from dish to another dishes. Teach them to matching color for three colors red, blue and yellow. Plans for 1 to 2 years old, About language. I will teach them start by use hand gestures and point to things and pictures. Moreover, they learn about language through understanding about interaction especially action about feeling. They hand and eye coordination will also improve. They will gain better control over fingers and hands. I will explore toys that they like such as stack blocks, listen or talk into a toy phone, or push a toy car. In addition, the concept of pretend play starts to emerge. Let's they imagination together to drink from an empty cup, use a banana as a phone, or imagine a block is a car. And i will gave them some simple puzzles to plays. Allow them to push, pull, and riding toys with their pleasure. Plans for 3 years old, About developing understanding Sometimes it is difficult for them to sort out what is pretend and what is real. For instance, whether witches i will put a spell on myself or whether children can grow wings and fly like the picture in their book or image training. I think that they do not tell lies as such but sometimes the inside and outside reality gets mixed up. I think They will love to talk to me about these important things. Never laugh at their confusions, and give them small amounts of simple information when explaining things. Plans for 4 to 5 years old, They're often great conversationalists and love to talk about the details of all sorts of scientific and important subjects. I will tell long stories which may be partly true and partly made up such as Linking memory.
My desired about teaching if i sorting by primary styles. The first is Visual, I will teach them through pictures, icons, charts, diagrams, and color coded information. Second is Aural, I will teach them through sound and music. Third is Verbal, I will teach them through words, verbal and written. Then is Social, I will teach them through group interaction in class, how to give and take, how to say Thank you and forgive. The last one, The aim of being as Shichida instructor is not just teaching child to becoming a genius, Furthermore, I would like to provide the children the ways to solving problems in their daily life. I will do my best for them.
