Extraversion measures a person’s tendency to seek stimulation
in the external world, company of others, and express
positive emotions. Extraverts tend to be more outgoing,
friendly, and socially active. They are usually energetic
and talkative, do not mind being the centre of attention, and
make new friends more easily. Introverts are more likely to
be solitary or reserved and seek environments characterized
by lower levels of external stimulation.
