The second ethical concept given by the King is truthfulness, which simply means to be transparent. Judges should be in the group of lawyers of truthfulness and beyond reproach. The author refers to an exemplary judge who was very kind but did not allow any party entering his house ; an exemplary prosecutor who is now retired living on meager pension, enjoying a very simple life ;and an exemplary late practising lawyer who charged moderate fees, enjoying his simple and peaceful life playing violin in his small wooden house. He urges all lawyers to take the proverb, "Honesty is the best policy
