Patients were excluded from the study if there was a history or
presence of clinically significant medical or surgical diseases, significant
laboratory abnormalities, suggested or confirmed mental
or neurological disorders. Patients who suffered from other types of
gastroesophageal diseases, peptic ulcer or erosive gasteroduodenitis
were also excluded.
