G.1.3.12 Chief of Ramp Services Supervisor
G.1.3.12.1 Role Purpose Statment
The Ramp Service Supervisor reports to the Ramp Services Manager. He/
She shall be responsible to ensure quick, efficient servicing and optimal loading of Company aircraft in compliance of regulatory requirements, aircraft weight and balance limitations and Company standards. He/She acts as a coordinator among operations control, flight crew, check-in counter, cargo staff and ramp personnel to ensure smooth operations in accordance with safety, quality and security objectives.
G1.3.12.2 Job Descriptions
In detail Chief of Ramp Service are responsible to:
• Supervise and maintain an efficient process of aircraft servicing and loading in compliance with airport regulations and Company safety, quality and security requirements;
• Supervise the discipline, conduct and appearance of ramp services personnel;
• Ensure necessary information, documentation, forms, labels and tags are available at the points of use;
• Disseminate immediate and continuous information to all staffs of changes in operational procedures;
• Promote efforts to achieve on-time performance and quick turnaround of late arriving flights;
• Review overall performance of load-ramp operations on a daily basis and implement improvement;
• Communicate with other internal departments to ensure smooth and efficient running of all operations;
• Report all incidents / accidents, investigate root cause(s) and implement corrective / preventive actions to eliminate recurrence;
• Maintain security in his / her job relate.
• Manage and coordinate load-ramp activities to ensure aircraft turnaround on time as scheduled;
• Keep track of ULD inventory at each station;
• Coordinate with subcontractor to maintain and repair ULD;
• Audit cargo weighing slips, and inspect weighing scale for serviceability and calibration, at cargo warehouse;
• Submit to town office daily cargo weight record and weekly collections of weighing slips, cargo manifests and traffic load reports as required;
• File and retain flight reports, traffic load reports and LDM/CPM message as required;
