Randomized complete block studies, each with three replications, were conducted in 2005 and 2006 adjacently in the same field each year at the Agronomic Research Area, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan. The soil would be classified as a sandy loam or sandy clay loam (Gee and Bauder, 1986 and USDA, 2013) having 64% sand, 16% silt, and 20% clay with a pH of 7.7 and 0.86% organic matter.
