The percentage of students whose measurements had a bad fit
with the seat depth of the classroom furniture (26.1% boys and
25.7% girls) is shown in Fig. 3c. Table 4 indicates that chairs were
too deep (high mismatch) for 22.6% of boys and 22.5% of girls, while
they were too shallow (lowmismatch) for 3.5% and 3.2% of boys and
girls, respectively. As is apparent, the mismatch percentage
decreased with grade level for both girls (form 46.8% in Grade 9 to
13.8% in Grade 12) and boys (from 58.4% in Grade 9 to 13.4% in
Grade 12).
