The yeast biomass was determined by the dry cell weight. Five
milliliters cell suspension samples were transferred to
a centrifuge tube and centrifuged at the speed of 1000  g for
5 min. The cell pellet was then washed three times with
distilled water and dried in a pre-weighed aluminum dish at
105 C for 3 h. The fatty acids were determined by Hewlett
Packard 5890 gas chromatograph with a Supelco SP-2560
