Tubes & Trays:
7.2.1.1. All Reject Devices will be placed into red colored tubes or trays only. Rejected
devices should never be placed into clear tubes or black trays. If red reject
tubes or red reject trays are unavailable, notify a Test Floor Supervisor or person
in charge immediately and Hold the lot for proper disposition.
7.2.1.2. Do not, under any circumstance, use a clear tube in place of a red reject tube, or
a black tray in place of a red tray. This will result in confusion and increase the
likelihood of shipping Reject Devices to our customers.
7.2.1.3. Any CLEAR tubes containing devices must be kept in the proper Bin of the Bin
Cart (each is labeled). Any CLEAR tubes containing devices left on top of the
Bin Cart and not clearly marked and bundled must be treated as untested.
7.2.1.4. Check the setup sheet for downgrade bins. If the lot is a downgrade part (actual
marking on device is downgrade part), use clear tube for Bin 2. If the lot is a 1st
grade part (actual marking on device is 1st grade), use green tubes for the Bin 2.
If green tubes are not available, notify the Test Floor Supervisor or person in
charge immediately and Hold the lot for proper disposition. Refer on appendix
12.1 for the flow reference in using green tubes.
7.2.1.4.1. The Test Operator must return any EMPTY green tubes not
needed for immediate Lot testing, to the Material Handler. The
Material Handler must return the green tubes to Material Control,
ensuring none of them contain plugs or stoppers of any color.
