A woman in Conception Bay South, N.L., who became partially paralyzed following an accident has realized her dream of walking her son down the aisle on his wedding day.
Joanne Stentaford fell in her bedroom in October 2014 and suffered a spinal injury.

Early on, she was told she may never be able to move on her own again, let alone walk down a church aisle or dance at a wedding.
However, she was committed to handing her son Jeff Stentaford off on the day he got married, so began physiotherapy in February.
"If I thought I was going to be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life, I wouldn't have gotten as far as I am now," she told CBC's St. John's Morning Show.
"You have to have hope. The body achieves what the mind believes, so that's what I'm going with.
