the two user profiles that emerged from our analyses, as shown in Table 4. In this regard, one first notes that Advanced users
did not differ significantly from Basic users in terms of their age,
their medical experience and their EHRusage experience. However,
a significantly greater proportion of female physicians were typified
as Advanced users. Basic users were also distinguished from
Advanced users by characterizing the EHR systems used by each
group. Indeed, Advanced users perceived their EHR system to be
significantly easier to use, and especially with respect to their interactions
with patients, when compared to Basic users. The former
group also indicated that their EHR system’s functional coverage,
that is, the number of clinical, communicational and administrative
functionalities available to them, was significantly greater on
average than the latter
