The regions of amphipathic helix that have the potential to act as T-cell epitopes were identified according to the charge and polarity pattern [24].
Six such regions were identified in the amino acid residues 159e178, 191e209, 212e231, 287e306, 311e330, 468e487 of IsdB protein (Table 1).
Analysis of the sequence for solvent accessibility suggested that most of the amino acid residues
within IsdB protein are accessible to solvent.
