A good performance objective informs students of the precise conditions under which their behavior is to occur. This is a very critical aspect of the objective. It’s easy to trivialize performance objectives by including conditions that are irrelevant to the performance. Include only essential information and conditions that are representative of what happens on the job. Remember that the closer training conditions are to the real job, the easier it is for trainees to transfer their newly acquired skills to their jobs. Some examples of conditions include performing the skill
