HILLARY BROWN, FAIA
HILLARY BROWN is principal of the firm New Civic Works. As a professor at the City College of New York, she directs the architecture track for the interdisciplinary master of science program in urban sustainability. While assistant commissioner with the City of New York she founded the Office of Sustainable Design and co-authored the city's internationally recognized High Performance Building Guidelines . She has authored several publications on green building and infrastructure, and is a former board director of the U.S. Green Building Council. Brown is a Fellow of Post Carbon Institute.
