The pasting properties were determined using the Brabender Viscograph E (Type 802520, Duisburg, Germany) in triplicate. Starch suspensions of 10% (db) were heated from 30 to 95 C at a heating rate of 1.5 C/min and a bowl speed of 75 rpm, held at 95 C for 5 min and then cooled to 30 C at the same rate.
