While the figures are declining,some are still pushing for a rise in cigarette prices out smoking.Alex Chan,chairman of the Smoking Control Committee leading the fight against cigarette smoking in the country,said a 50% jump in prices was needed in consumption.Smokers now pay about S$6.20(130 baht)for a packet of 20 sticks.AFP
