Considering that being cost-effective is always
the key to commercial shrimpproduction, such periodic light color fluctuation
not only promotes the growth of shrimp, but also reduces the
power costs. Our hypothesis is, that if the growth of shrimps would be
enhanced in condition of periodic light color fluctuating compared to in
constant light color. Molting, growth performance, feeding and energy
budgets of the shrimpswere tested to understand the reasons for possible
growth characteristics
