In the RProfile software the T15 point clouds were transformed into a common coordinate system by applying a least squares matching of the measured targets in the dinerent scan sessions. Subsequently the scans were geo-referenced using the coordinates of the targets. Relative iterative closest-point (ICP) referencing was additionally applied in a few cases due to the presence of differential orientation emors within single scans (Kenner et al- 2011).
