Work-related stress was well known to all participants in this study. There were no differences in the experience of work-related stress between different sized workplaces or different field of business. The own work-related stress management model were lacking in all size of enterprises. The communication and cooperation between the work-place and OHS varied greatly according to the size of the enterprise. The situation regarding the communication and collaboration between OHS and workplaces seemed to be most favorable in larger companies (over 100 persons). The enterprises’ administrations supported interventions on work-related stress more often than in smaller compa-
nies. Traditional occupational risks are higher and their management weaker in small and medium size enterprises.
