In this study, we report on the synthesis of Ba0.85Ca0.15Ti0.9−xZr0.1CuxO3(x = 0.002, 0.004, 0.006, 0.008 and 0.01) nanopowders using a hydrothermal method, from which ceramic samples were prepared by sintering for 3 h at the low temperature of 1300◦C. The crystal structure and morphology of the samples were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) after which the dielectric constants, ferroelectric hysteresis loops and piezoelectric charge coefficients of the BCZTC ceramics were also measured.
