In this study we have synthesized multi-component Li2OPbO
B2O3SiO2Bi2O3: CuO glasses with different contents of Al2O3 and
investigated the influence of variation of Al2O3 concentration on spectroscopic
characteristics (optical absorption and ESR spectra) of copper
ions and dielectric properties of the bulk material. The IR and Raman
spectral studies have also been under taken so as to have some
pre-structural information of the glass system that may facilitate for
understanding the electrical properties as well as optical properties of
the titled glass system.
