This is a question that can't be answered as being a good thing or a bad thing. It depends on how you use capitalism. The problem with capitalism is that it always involves the individual gaining or acquiring of money. So capitalism builds up from this need to succeed as an individual. The money belongs to me and no one else. While communism supports the idea of "everyone being equal...no one has more than I do.." it's not a bad thing, but also not a good thing. So, in capitalism large gaps pop up between high class and low class...the middle class always suffering the worst problems. The good thing about capitalism is that you might work hard at something and it pays off...maybe in a very big way. The bad thing is that some work hard, and never see the pay off...and are left at a disadvantage. In reality, capitalism is only as good as how you use it. If you build a capitalist country, thinking off everyone....you might just turn out to be a good thing.
