Bouquet is one more perfume inspired by the theme of wedding, which became an attribute of the famous American fashion designer Vera Wang. Available since April 2008, this scent is a delicate floral green and was developed by perfumer Loc Dong. Speaking about the source of inspiration for this fragrance, Vera Wang’s quite from the official website mentions that “For me, flowers and fragrance are the perfect expression of love and commitment, and a bouquet symbolizes that union. In the hands of a radiant woman, a bouquet can be magical.”
Tow years ago, in 2010, while I was browsing several fragrance from this house, I solicited the assistance of my wife, in order to figure out how to classify this beautiful fragrance. As I was about to found out later, the composition of Bouquet is similar to a glowing garden, emphasizing on the floral green accords.
The first impression on Bouquet is given by the note of Sicilian bergamot, in a combination with dew drops and black currant leaves. As the citrus accords are disappearing slowly, throughout the initial 20 minutes, a floral symphony is happening, in which the heart unveils notes of white narcissus and honeysuckle. And then, in a couple of hours, everything turns to a woody base, due to the musk and lavender, which represent the dominant notes, joined by accords of Moroccan cedar and white iris.
The bottle that holds Bouquet has a shape that remains faithful to the Vera Wang classic design, sporting an elegant silhouette with feminine shapes. The transparent glass reveals a green shaded liquid, while being topped by a precious stopper. Similar to the rest of Vera Wang’s creations, Bouquet is perfect for a woman who is about to get married and wants to add a very important accessory to her look.
