Two hundred and thirty-four yeasts belonging to 14 genera
were assayed for bio-fungicidal activity. All strains had been isolated
from different viticultural environments. Nineteen strains
were isolated from Redglobe table grapes , 8 from
vineyard soil and 207 from fermenting musts

yeasts increased the level of berry rot. Identification of the strains
yielded 140 Saccharomyces and 94 non-Saccharomyces
