Dear Khun Anan;
I understand that MEA can not make repairs to the cement power box that was damaged by the fallen tree last April 27 as was explained to me by your technician on Friday. All MEA can do is to cut the power to the said box while the car/truck pushes the power box into place and then turn the power back on.
An email notice was distributed to Samakee Place residents yesterday stating that at 9:45am (today) the power in the village would be cut. By 10:25 am the power was still on. I went to the village office to ascertain what was going on and was told "Waiting for the electricity company to come".
That is the reason I called MEA this morning - to verify that MEA had indeed dispatched a crew to cut the power this morning.
When you see the attached pictures I am sure you will understand why I am so upset about this situation as it has been 2 and a half weeks since the incident occurred and it remains to look like a disaster zone and presents multiple safety issues and concerns.
Thank you for you attention in this matter Khun Anan. I would appreciate any help you can lend me.
Regards,
Melody Herber
