provide detailed information. They are there to be used by those who
wish to conduct evaluations about packaging for a company and its
fresh food supply chain. Their content reflects the specific focus of this
book, which is on packaging logistics for fresh food retailing. There are
many other considerations from management or specialist perspectives
that are not included here since they would be outside the scope of the
book. In other words, whilst the structure and information provided
here in these lists and tables are a way into the evaluation, companies
need to be aware of specific situations and circumstances as they
pertain to them. The tables and lists are indicative rather than
exhaustive in that regard.
