Objective To make good understanding for managements/HODs to handle with employee resignation
According to our current situation of employee resignation, HR found many cases of unacceptable resignation which concurred and approved by direct managers and HODs.
It caused negative direct effect to the company.
For example
• Fail of 30 days of advance notice
• HODs keep resignation form without inform to HR.
• Etc.
We would like to remind and make understanding of employee resignation regulations again as underneath.
1. When a staff needs to resign, please inform your direct management immediately.
2. When management knows informally that staff will resign, please inform HR for further preparation.
3. Acceptable resignation means 30 days advance notice resignation. It starts from when HR gets approved resignation form from the HODs.
4. All resignation form must be approved by your own HODs (Top Management) before submit to HR.
5. Direct management of resigned staff is responsible for company asset clearance checking and submit together with resignation from to HR as soon as possible.
6. HR will coordinate for company asset clearance checking with HR, IT and Accounting & Finance.
7. For unacceptable resignation, the company reserves the right to prolong the payment of resigned staff salary, other incomes, other welfares, for example, Provident fund, till all company assets have been cleared. When the company is assured that it will not have negative effect from the unacceptable resignation, the salary, other incomes, other welfares will be paid by cash or cheque.
8. Employee can take his/her remaining annual leave on pro rata basis until his/her effective date. Employee who take annual leave exceed than his/her eligibility, his/her last salary will be deducted.
