in Finland’s retail markets. The competitiveness
of small and medium-sized local energy companies
will be particularly enhanced by their
share in Fennovoima. It is advantageous for
consumers that many local energy companies
price their retail sales on the basis of their own
actual costs, not on the basis of the market price
of electricity.
