yields of lycopene, among which temperature showed the most
significant effect (P < 0.05). However, the interaction between temperature
and pressure (X1X2) did not have a significant effect on the
lycopene yield in our study (P > 0.05). As can be seen in Eq. (1) and
Fig. 2A, increases in lycopene yield could be achieved by raising
both the temperature and pressure. As expected, the temperature
dependence of the lycopene yield was higher than was the pressure
dependence.
