Nowadays, people's daily routines are busier than ever. With most of our time allocated for working, studying, travelling and socializing, there is hardly any time left for sleeping and relaxation. The problem is especially pronounced for young teens who spend a lot of time on reading, doing homework, playing games and surfing the social networks. People who do not receive adequate resting period tend to exhibit symptoms such as blurred perception, slow responses, amnesia and lack of concentration. Their bodies may also suffer physical illness such as dull skins, fatigue and become overweight as the bodies release secretion of cortisol, which induces hunger appetite. Because the lack of sleep is unhealthy, we should repriorit our daily routines to ensure that between 8 to 9 hours a day, but not more than 10 hours, is allocat for sleeping.
