A total of 47 volunteers working with Kensington and Chelsea Age Concern in association with 60Plus were trained to deliver a home exercise programme initially within the north of the borough. The home exercise training programme was adapted for delivery to those classified as the elderly or frail who may benefit from supported exercise at home. Twenty of the volunteers trained are now delivering home exercise. This suggests secondary outcome measures of sustainability of the intervention have been achieved despite inconclusive primary outcome data.
