So what is sustainability? We can spend hours and hours debating over this. But to me, knowing the definite definition of the term "sustainability" is of much lesser importance than realizing that it is a critical part of our lives and we must act upon it.
On the second day of the Sixth International Conference on Human Resource and Organization Management and Development, we have an honor of listening to the story of sustainability from Ajarn Meechai Viravaidahya, one of the greatest community developers and social entrepreneurs. His story of poverty alleviation and rural development touches all of our hearts and gives us such a great inspiration. In the afternoon, we learn three stories of sustainability from Khun David Saddoris of 3M Innovation (Thailand), Khun Arrut Navaraj of Sampran Riverside and Dr. Sumrit Yipyintum of River Pro Pulp and Paper. Good heart and caring hands start it all for the betterment of us all.
