Owner
Some default information can be set at the owner level. These defaults are applied to new items when
they are created through the workstation. At the enterprise user level, a default for the carton group
can be configured on the Misc tab.
Item
Several key configuration components for dynamic picking are found on the item. See the Infor Supply
Chain Execution Configuration User Guide for information on defining these elements.
General tab
• Pack – Sets the unit of measure to be used for the item.
• Carton Group – Breaks items into different groups if you are using cartonization with dynamic picking.
• Shelf Life indicator – Indicates whether shelf life rules are to be followed.
• Shelf Life Code Type –Value used to calculate shelf life conformity.
• Inbound Shelf Life – Number of days to calculate shelf life at receiving.
• Outbound Shelf Life – Number of days to calculate shelf life at picking and shipping.
• Lottable Validation – Rule defined to ensure the correct lot attributes are captured when the item is
received.
