The influence of the aerosol in the atmosphere is very important in all climate models. It’s well known that if
carbon dioxide increases in the atmosphere, the temperature rises up. On the contrary the presence of aerosol in the
atmosphere has a cooling effect: it increases the reflection of the Sun incident light in outer space.
There are different types of aerosol, which differ mostly in the size of the particles. The source of aerosol could
be natural or artificial. An example of natural aerosol in the atmosphere is the Sahara Desert sand over the Mediterranean Sea.
