Crab-eating macaque ,native to Southeast Asia, is also called Philippine Monkey or the long-tailed Macaque. Its tail is usually about the same length as its body ;it is distinguished form most other macaques by its long-tail. it is a social animal that lives in groups of form 5-60 animals. The group size depends on.the level predation and availability of food.
Among the crab-eating macaques ,the female ones are centers. the males move in and out of the female-based groups. Males generally first emigrate form their natal group at the age of 4-6 They will remain in a group up to four of five years and thus will emigrate several times throughout their life.
After a gestation period of 167-193 days, the female gives birth to one infant
