more efficient? Some have proposed the use of
time-compression to reduce the amount of time
learners spend listening to a narration. A lofty
goal of an instructional designer is to maximize
a learner’s comprehension and satisfaction,
while minimizing the amount of time a learner
will spend on a learning task (Ritzhaupt, Gomes
& Barron, 2008).
