All the extracted DNA of the standard strains and of the
recovered E. coli O157:H7 isolates by bacteriological examination were examined using multiplex-PCR for molecular typing
of the toxic and virulence genes (stx1, stx2, eae, and hylA)
using specific oligo nucleotide primers.
