Preferably Thai with a professional engineering qualification, preferable to Masters level.
Experience in the power generation industry gained through either design or technical project management or asset/maintenance management roles.
Exposure to a broad range of generation technologies, including coal-fired/gas-fired plants and renewables.
Demonstrated understanding and experience of power generation plant and systems.
Demonstrated understanding and experience with all stages of plant design, testing, installation, commissioning and maintenance.
Expertise in key power plant components, i.e. boiler, gas turbine, steam turbine shall be a plus.
Ability to effectively use modern analytical and office software tools including thermodynamic analysis software package (eg Thermoflow suite, Proates).
Demonstrated understanding of power plant thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer.
Demonstrated understanding and experience in commercial conditions and financial management of tenders and contracts.
Knowledge of quality assurance systems and associated documentation.
Ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team and independently as required.
Ability to mentor and guide less senior engineers.
Willingness to travel to work at sites in Thailand and Internationally for periods of time, as necessary.
Good English verbal and written communication and report writing skills.
