High-producing surfactin mutants we

High-producing surfactin mutants were obtained by ion
beam implantation in B. subtilis strains isolated a mutant of Pseudomonas
aeruginosa MR01 induced by gamma irradiation, which has shown
more than one and a half-fold biosurfactant production and activity
compared with the parent strain.
