This figure shows spherical and agglomerated TiO2-SiO2 nano-particle which was obtained using different molar ratios of reagents; the molar ratio of the solvent is also important. With a lower molar ratio of solvent (ethanol), agglomerated silica particles were obtained. Park and Kim13 have shown when a narrow size distortion is required, a small molar ratio of ethanol should be employed.
