Palladium (II) chloride standard solution (1 102 M) was
prepared by dissolving palladium (II) chloride in water (to which
0.1 ml of concentrated hydrochloric acid has been added). The mixture
was then warmed in a water bath to ensure complete dissolution.
The ionic strength (l) of the final solution for determination
was kept constant at 0.2 M, by the addition of a 2 M potassium
