Scatter plots of InRMstd versus InWM (re-converted from InWM; InWM = InWM + 7.8076, where 7.8076 is the mean InWM) for cephalopods and fishes are shown in Fig. 3A. In the same way, the generalized effects of habitat temperature (1000/Temp = 1000/Temp + 3.4807) on Rstd and of habitat depth (InDepth = InDepth + 2.8220) on Rstd were analyzed by replacing the InWM on the right side of the equation with l000/Temp and with InDepth. respectively. Thus, I obtained scatter diagrams of Rstd, versus habitat temperature and of Rstd venus habitat depth for cephalopods and fishes (Figs 3B and C, respectively).
