In the recent few decades, tobacco production in Macedonia
has intense agriculture increasing the use of fertilizers
and pesticides. Consequently, the contaminant content such
as trace elements is increasing. Therefore, it becomes crucial
to better control all sources of pollution of agricultural soils.
The objective of our study was to clarify the quality of the
soils used for cultivation of sun cured oriental tobacco and
monitor basic soil properties as essential for achieving sustainable
land use
