We have some positive news this week regarding a number of players, to go with the positive result we achieved at Arsenal on Sunday!
First, Pedro Obiang has been in full training this week after returning from his leg muscle injury. He is fit and available.
As the manager has said, Andy Carroll is also working well on his rehabilitation and has been training in a group with the Development Squad, as well as doing individual strength and conditioning work with the medical staff.
Enner Valencia continues to work on his rehabilitation following the leg injury he suffered in the UEFA Europa League against Astra Giurgiu on 30 July.
Joey O’Brien is recovering from the minor hamstring injury he suffered in the same game and will return to first-team training on Sunday.
Finally, Lewis Page suffered an ankle ligament injury in the second leg with Astra in Romania on 6 August and will be out for four to six weeks. He is recovering and receiving treatment from the Academy medical staff.
