Something is wrong. You are using too much linen. But I don’t understand if you are losing linen or spoiling it? are we keeping proper spoilage records?
For example, last month we had xx number of napkins. But now we have xx – 20. Did we spoil the 20? Or lose them?
1. Losing them – if so, please immediately implement new, adequate internal security measures to insure we stop losing stuff.

3. Spoiling – if it is a laundry problem, they must compensate us. please keep records, document, take pictures, etc. and credit back the amount against their invoices. And look into changing the laundry.
If the problem is not solved, we will have to take the replacement costs from service charge, so please follow up on this.

PS – one other issue might be that our budget was too low. But normally the linen replacement budget should be low in the first year. normally a hotel should not have many orders because linen should not spoil so quickly.
