In our interviews/focus groups, most participants
ranked item (b) “a health-service system with a
sufficient number of hospitals and personnel” as the
most important thing that they would like to have, with
some exceptions from some participants from the lowincome
group who chose item (a) “a universal coverage
scheme like the 30-Baht Scheme or other low-fee healthcare
schemes” over item (b). Only a small proportion of
the subjects chose (c) or (d) as their first priority.
